Daryl founded the Peabody Executive Coaching Group in 2012 after 20 years of leading and coaching at the most senior executive levels in several organizations.
Daryl most recently retired as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sears Optical, North America, a licensed brand owned and operated by Luxottica Group a 6.5 billion dollar publicly traded company which also owns brands such as, Lenscrafters, Sunglass Hut, Pearle Vision, and Oakley.

After joining Luxottica Retail in 2002, Daryl held various positions including, Regional Director of Operations, Vice President of Training and Development, and Vice President of Operations. In his last role, Daryl led the overall brand operations for approximately 900 stores within the U.S. and Canada with approximately 800MM in revenue.

During his tenure with Luxottica, Daryl introduced an Executive Coaching model to the organization through leveraging the books Fierce Conversations and Emotional Intelligence.

Daryl earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Alcorn State University. He has served on the Board of Directors for OneSight®, a non-profit family of charitable vision care programs dedicated to restoring and preserving vision for all those in need.

Daryl is a certified executive coach. He is also a member of the prestigious Young President’s Organization which is an international group of young CEOs and Presidents.
